Cuteness Overload! It’s a puptastic episode!

Notes: A nose of tropical fruit and bubble gum take the lead with and woody resin undertones. Palate is juicy with flavors of creamy pineapple and freshly baked bread, wrapping it up with a soft -as-a-puppy bitterness (8.2%)

Nerdsense Drinks Reviews – #231 Other Half & Trillium Triangle Test

Welcome to a Nerdsense lesson in beerducation! I’m kidding, we don’t know enough to teach you anything.

This is Other Half & Trillium Triangle Test! We got our hands on the T-90 as well as the combination of T-45, T-90 and Lupilin Powder! We do them side by side and see how hop size can really change a beer.

Style: Double IPA
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: Trillium The Streets & Stemmed NS BS Snifter
T-90 Notes: It’s hopped 100% with Citra T-90 and receives 2 dry hop additions. T-90 pellets are made by taking whole hops and milling them to powder before reforming them into pellets which retains roughly 90% of the original hop material. (8%)

T-90, T-45 Lupulin Powder Notes – Brewed with Golden Promise malt and 30% flaked oats. This version is hopped in equal parts with all the Citra hop products and is double dry hopped at an even higher rate. (10%)

We got our hands on a can of Idle Hands latest DIPA, Six Seam! We fucking loved Four Seam so let’s see how this fairs.

Notes: Six Seam was produced with a focus on Mosaic® hops, which helps deliver the smooth, pillowy mouthfeel and reduced bitterness characteristic of New England IPAs. Notes: Deciduous Double India Wheat Ale presents a rich, warm, gold color. A dank nose of papaya and melon is followed by a well balanced palate of melon, fruit salad, and subtle tart citrus. Deciduous Double India Wheat Ale has a luscious medium body and creamy mouthfeel.(8%)

Notes: Pouring a vibrant, hazy gold; aromas of white wine, tropical fruit, and citrus swirl around the nose. Upfront flavors of grassy hop, lime zest, and pineapple coincide with vinous notes from the mid-fermentation addition of Pinot Gris juice. Soft and creamy with moderate bitterness; Medium-Light bodied with a crisp, dry finish. (8.5%)
