A T-Rex made its way to the table this week! We have Toppling Goliath’s Double Dry Hopped Pseudo Sue!
Style: Pale Ale
Container: 22oz Bomber
Glassware: Snifters
Notes: This double dry hopped pale ale showcases the Citra hop for a well balanced beer that is delicate in body with a mild bitterness in the finish. Ferocious aromas of citrus and mango give a refreshing taste that is bright with just enough bite! (5.8%)
Rating: 4.5/5
We’ve been putting this one off for awhile for reasons neither of us can explain. We finally took it out of the fridge, hit record and had camera issues! So this is using our old camera, so it may look a little different than our more recent videos.
Style: Milk Stout
Container: 25.2oz Bottle
Glassware: Stemmed Snifters
Notes: Horchata-style milk stout aged in apple brandy barrels with poblano peppers, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla beans. (8.7%)
Rating: 4.75/5
Another Fieldwork brew makes it’s way to the table and this time it’s King Citra!
Style: DIPA
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: Nerdsense Snifters
Notes:A thick and full mouthfeel creates an Orange Whip-like profile that sticks to the palate with a refreshingly dessert-esque fervor, slowly giving way to a soft bite of carbonation. As the sun sets across the horizon King Citra fires thunderbolt after thunderbolt at every taste receptor till they are overwhelmed and he struts away, crown atop his head, still reigning supreme over his Empire of Double IPA. For anyone wondering…yes the joke of saying Hoof Hearted’s name was definitely lost on us at the time of this recording…
Hoof Hearted makes it’s debut in Nerd Den this week. This is KONKEY DONG!
Style: DIPA
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: Nerdsense Snifters
Notes:Barrel fermented in Donkey Kong barrels and excessively dry hopped with Galaxy, Simcoe, and Dr. Rudi Hops from New Zealand. Dank and Juicy! Brewed in collaboration with Arcade Super Awesome (8%)

Another solo review as I dive into Evil Twin’s Even More Jesus Imperial Stout!
Style: Imperial Stout
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: Snifters
Notes: A few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all – it must taste rare! (12%)
Style: IPA
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: Nerdsense Snifters
Notes: This edition features Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, Cascade, and Falconer’s Flight; fruity aromas; zesty with a mellow and citrusy finish (6%)
Rating: 3.5/5
We have a collaboration brew between Trophy Brewing in Raleigh, NC and Night Shift in Everett, MA!
Style: DIPA
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: Night Shift Flutes
Notes:Come check out this year’s collaboration between Trophy and Night Shift Brewing! Together we’ve created Inside Joke, a tasty Double IPA featuring Galaxy, Citra, and Simcoe hops. Whirlpool hop additions as well as heavy dry hopping give this beer a ton of great hop flavor and aroma, while a bit of turbinado sugar lends the beer a beautiful golden color. (8.6%)

On the latest episode of Nerdsense, the boys are swinging hard on Iron Fist. As per usual, though, the asides are coming fast. It’s tangent after tangent.
They also cover the latest of Fox’ Marvel offering, Logan. Is it the best “X-Men” film yet? Listen to find out. Cheers!
We also recorded a Nerdsense Drinks Half Pour during the podcast which you can check out below!
Trillium just celebrated their 4th Anniversary and they released a a MASSIVE Triple IPA to celebrate. They took the base recipe of their Street series IPA’s and dry hopped the fuck out of it with Amarillo, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, Simcoe, & Nelson to make a 10% behemoth of a TIPA.
While editing the video I noticed we seemed a little lethargic at the beginning but this was not how we felt, I think we were just blown away so much that we were left a little speechless that a Triple IPA could be this well crafted.
Style: Triple IPA
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: The Streets glass and Teku
Notes: Using the same base recipe as all our Street beers, we dry hopped with Amarillo, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, Simcoe, & Nelson. The Streets Triple IPA is a celebratory culmination of all the Streets beers we’ve brewed over the past 4 years. (10%)
