Notes: Witch Meadow Black 2024 draws inspiration, yet again, from the world of amaro – specifically the class of amari produced with rhubarb. Rabarbaro, as it’s called, is made with a unique variety of rhubarb root, that contributes a beautiful combination of smokiness and woodsiness, along with a producer-specific blend of spices or herbs. We paired that distinctive rhubarb root with vanilla (from Mexico and Madagascar), cardamom pods and sweet orange peel. We’re so pleased with the results – those sweet, spicy, smoky, woodsy qualities from the adjuncts pair wonderfully with base stout and its rich barrel character. Alongside a classic rabarbaro, Dr. Pepper springs to mind upon tasting. (16%)
